I saw the film 'Wolf Creek' last night. Wow the suspense was fantastic! I haven't been that nervous since I saw the first 15 minutes of Jeepers Creepers (after that, that movie turned to crap). I imagine the tourism board of WA and Northern Territory won't be too pleased with this movie, it paints a pretty scary picture of outback Australia. What's worse, it scares you in the same way that Jaws, Texas Chainsaw Massacre and even Salo (that 70's Pasolini shocker) does. That is, even though you know the story isn't true, you know that it COULD happen, and that's what makes it so scary. And to make it on the backpacker route, ouch, that's gotta hurt the tourism sector!

hehe, yeah pretty intense stuff! i saw it by myself :( i was supposed to meet my friend bec in the foyer but the ticket que was sooo long that i missed her and when i got in there was no way of finding her! so i watched it sitting next to some under 18's who had sneaked in. hehe, they were squirming!
OOoh, I found 'Man with a movie camera', that silent Russian 1929 film with the Cinematic Orchestra soundtrack on dvd! How great is that? It's mesmerising, you'd love it, i remember you loving all their stuff!
