Spring in the Valley anarchy

It was 'Spring in the Valley' this weekend, an event that happens for about a week every Spring in the Swan Valley. The Swan Valley is famous for being one of the State's most productive wine growing regions, and it's about 45 minutes from Perth. The traditional way of enjoying this is to hire a bus, grab a group of friends, get some ice and some cask wine for the road, and then head off to as many wineries as you can fit into one day.
Bec and Dave's friends organised our little trip, and we went to around four wineries. We started at Sandalford, where before we knew it we were dancing with some latin dancer guy doing a group synchronised thing, with lots of hip swivelling and posturing! Hehe, and for some reason there were lots of people dressed as cowboys..

Here is a couple of pics from the Ambient Zone radiothon show in August. That's Gav, me and Dmitri hamming it up. Ya that pic below makes me look like a dodgy sleazebag Fabio type, but hey it was late and we were foolin' around and it was 1am on a Sunday night! We signed up heaps of folk, hopefully ensuring the survival of the show for another year on RTR FM.
