Time to write something useful in this blog

Whilst I was procrastinating the best part of my day away yesterday, I thought of an idea that had entered my mind a few years ago, but i never seemed to get around to following up. That is, I think now that i've got a blog happening I might start to write about my adventures of 97 and 2001. I was checking out Julie's blog, and she is using it as a way to get her books going, as she lives on an island in the south Pacific and doesn't get much literary criticisms from her peers, so it helps her to write her thoughts online. I'm not thinking of publishing anything I write, I just want to get it down before I start forgetting what happened. I was reminded of some stuff I did 10 years ago the other day, and I had totally forgotten doing it! And it wasn't even some drug crazed adventure, so I had no excuse for it being lost from my head. I might start bit by bit.. all I need is to have a bit of definate nothing-else-to-do time, not something I have much of whilst studying.
But are my adventure tales just predictable stuff that anyone in their 20s might say? I mean I was travelling around Europe, and lots of people do that. Nah.. Ill do it just for my own eyes, so I can jog my memory reading it when I'm a crusty old invalid!
Any suggestions as to how I should approach this?

dog in a ute

Yay! Yesterday i finally began a new career! Well, it is only a day a week, but it feels good to be working again. This afternoon i am going to join the attempt of a town to break the world record for the number of dogs in backs of utes in a single place in Corrigin. Yes, its a country thing and i am going there with Jessica, as Corrigin is the town closest to her home town. I am pretty sure i will look like a fish out of water, as i am so NOT a country boy. But hey, anything like this should be cool.
Man i am so busy lately, would be good to be able to relax! Its all planning and planning theory in my life at the moment. I wouldn't mind meeting someone online. Pity no one reads this blog, actually it doesnt matter cos i get to ramble on in my own head. yaa. well im off .. see ya

Aie aie aie chihuahua! What have i got myself into? This load of work for uni is very uncool, and i just don't seem to be learning anything. Here i am, wasting time on the uni computers, and still no closer to finishing this stoopid essay. I just checked out melika's blog recently, man i never knew my old pal Smelissa was such a sleazebag! hehe, nice to see she's keeping up the good work. I'd like to put more pics of my cruise to Rotto last week, but i need to figure out a way to have them all online in a smaller format. Anyway, did i mention i met some great girlies from Boston on the trip, Ren, Kelly and Teri? They were great fun but we only got to hang out for a few hours before they headed off to Bali or something. Ah to be travelling again. I have the urge to hit the road again so bad. I wish i could get a job for a while, allegedly there are planning jobs all over Perth, but so far no one wants me. A bit of work and i'd be out somewhere overseas for sure. The dramas with Jess settled, but of course there was no resolution (she's a 'brush everything that needs to be discussed under the carpet' type), so who knows when something will arise again. I'm too tired to deal with it. I'm too tired to do anything at the moment. I need a change.
Saturday night was tops. We got a bunch of us down to Clint's parents block near Bridgetown, took a bag of cookies and loads of drinks. Wow, what a pad! Jerry and Linda bought an old mansion that must have been built for aristocrats, it has a ballroom, servants quarters and heaps of funny shaped rooms, with a massive 3 metre wide verandah all round the house. Clint and Lee have been putting it back to shape, it was seriously run down, as in no roof, no doors and a rat population that scared anyone away, not to mention probably 100 years worth of ghosts. So nice to relax finally. Was also good to have Sarah back in town. I met Sarah in Rai Leh in Thailand a year ago, and she's been travelling the countryside catching up with long lost family. She was a great travel buddy, and now she's finishing her Aussie adventures off with a final stay in Perth.
Tonight i think i'll harass Jeff to have another one of his classic 'Casa de Brun' house parties. They are always great and he hasn't had one this year.. yet! More on that very soon..
